Domestic or Family Violence has a major impact on all family members, especially the children and youth. Learn what the effects are at various developmental stages through a trauma lens, and how this impacts their relationships with foster and adoptive families. Knowing how to determine the most effective services to assist the family is vital in making real change and will be discussed.

This will be a presentation using visual tools and real examples of how harmful domestic violence is to the children and youth who witness it. There will be an opportunity for questions and open dialogue. Power point and a short film with case scenario processing will also be a part of the presentation.
