This training will focus on how we as practitioners engage with others across differences, including race, gender, class and language. Topics will include the practice of examining absent narratives, cultural humility and the study of identity as it relates to engaging with clients, peers, and providers.  Participants will engage in reflective practice and peer engagement to deepen their understanding of their own identities and those of their clients/peers to enhance practice that is effective, inclusive and thoughtful.  Strategies and techniques will be discussed and shared to broaden practitioner knowledge base and skills.
