Groundhog Day (1993) stars Bill Murray as a TV weatherman who, while covering the annual Groundhog Day event, is caught in a time loop, repeatedly living the same day over and over and over and over again. If parenting has you in an endless loop of tantrums, failure to tell the truth, sleepless nights, and things gone missing, then you are welcome here!

Don’t settle for theory, you’ll go home with strategies to put into practice, a reset on expectations, reminder of who YOU are in the midst of the chaos, and a fair amount of hope.
Peggy Thomsen, MSW, LICSW, works from her Eagan, MN office serving foster and adoptive families with a focus on challenges specific to attachment concerns and early childhood trauma. The model Peggy uses provides parents with a solid understanding of missed developmental steps and positions them as a reliable source of regulation, safety, and shared joy for their children. Peggy’s family built through adoption and her years providing crisis and foster care informs her work and honors the very deep pain, confusion, and struggles of parents and case workers.
