This presentation will focus on proper identification of potential autism spectrum disorders in children and will include detailed descriptions of early signs and symptoms. We will also discuss problems that might arise from over-diagnosis.
Dr. Catherine Yeager is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in neuropsychological and developmental assessment of pediatric patients. Dr. Yeager received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of North Dakota and completed her pre-doctoral internship at Children’s Hospital - Minneapolis. Her post-doctoral residency was completed at the University of North Dakota Family Practice Center. She is co-owner and founder of Assessment and Therapy Associates of Grand Forks, and a co-director of Behavioral Science at the Altru Family Medicine Residency.
